This tailless lizard, breathes out a black carbon. The creature lives inside a smokestack. Only the chimney is being torn down.
The media, Chinese ink, is made of soot and animal glue, materials derived of combustion, and animal husbandry, and the paper, of deforestation - all anthropogenic activities that, when industrialised, become the growing cancer on our ecological health.
